17, 2008 Hi Danny and Kristen, We just wanted to say thank you again for the most
fun I have had fishing in a long time. I know it is the most fun that Matt has had since it was his third fishing trip
ever. The Kayak fishing is everything you promote it to be, a pure fishing trip with out all the distractions that
are inevitable when fishing out of a motor boat. I know we were able to get to places that you could never get
to with a bigger boat. Even with the wind blowing, I think that we had an excellent trip, 9 redfish, 30 specks, and
2 big flounder - Captain Danny, you did a great job and were an excellent host, maybe next time Matt can catch his big red!
I would recommend a kayak trip to anyone that wants a little adventure along with a great fishing experience. I was
apprehensive about how sore I would be the day after the trip, but even though we paddled a lot, I wasn't the
least bit sore, catching 2 big redfish back to back had more affect on me than the paddling. The hospitality
that both Danny and Kristen showed us was outstanding and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We will be back
soon, hopefully in time for the big trout that are coming. Regards, Rick
Miller
April 10, 2008 Hi Danny and Kristen, Thanks for showing us such
a great time last week. I know all of us had a great time and appreciate all your hard work. Hope the wind stays slow and
the fish are biting, Albert
April 7, 2008 Danny and Kristen, I wanted to thank the both of you one
more time for allowing Michael, Alex and I to stay with you this past weekend. We all greatly appreciated your hospitality
and kindness. I saw some
pretty good action, catching 6 reds but keeping 4, all on a golden weedless spoon. Michael and Alex caught 1 or 2 a piece.
We are all looking forward to making a return trip to the same area one time, I found where we were on Google Earth and I
can see plenty of other areas ready to explore in the same general vicinity. (who knows if they are posted or not though,
we'll see) Thanks again
and hope to see yall again sometime, Bill McCollister
Hello Kristen and
Danny! We had a wonderful time last Monday on our ecotour. Attached is a link to the photo gallery, however, I'll probably have a Grand Isle
page pretty quick. http://KellyChitwood.smugmug.com/gallery/4557299_92ASy#P-1-15 I wanted to thank you and your husband for the trip, the calendars and information about
south Louisiana. Wonderful! Today, Emma drew a picture of dolphins and pelicans and herself in a boat. The
tour made quite an impression on her. That's money
well spent in my book. All the best, Kelly Chitwood Camden, AR

Capt.
Danny Wray,
Wanted
to write you and thank you for the wonderful day that my father and I had a few weeks ago. It was my dad’s first
chance to catch a Louisiana Redfish and I really think that he enjoyed it. He mentioned coming back and doing it again
next time he was down. I just sent him the link to your website so that he could see the video of the trip that you
posted (I got a kick out of seeing it on your website as well). We had a great time and look forward to coming back.
You put together a fine fishing trip for us!
Best Regards, Scott Frank

John, Becky and the Staff from Pack and Paddle in Lafayette, LA joined us for a weekend of fun, fishing and kayaking recently.

"Those Florida guys come over here and fish a tournament and they'll tell you
'we got the pretty water, but ya'll got the fish'". No sooner had those words come out the mouth of our guide Danny Wray than a big redfish hit Becky's line. The reel whined with that high pitch sound of line being stripped
by a big strong fish. Becky pulled up on her rod and I watched with (just a little) jealousy as it bent almost double. Her
screams of delight were so fun to watch. Danny said mid-fight "you gotta quit smilin' so much!". That wasn't
going to happen. .... We fished the edges of the marsh grass in the coves and pockets that the irregular surface
creates. I was popping my cork, distracted by some birds flitting in the marsh grass when a redfish slammed my line and took
it on an abrupt path out towards the middle of the channel - the reel screaming as the fish steamed away from my kayak. I
was shocked that I was actually catching a fish. Especially a fish bigger than a bream. I am famous in my family for catching
small fish. I've actually caught fish that were not a whole lot bigger than the minnow we were using for bait today! But
this time, I was on the other end of the line from a the biggest fish I've ever caught in my life. I have to tell you
- it was so fun. Wow.

I wanted to drop you a line about this past weekend fishing rodeo. I have been on many trips with guide
service, however this was the best and most enjoyable time ever. You are a outstanding guide and person. Keep up the great
service. Frank Posey
Here is the best picture from the best morning of fishing I have had in quite
some time. It not often that you can catch a limit of bull red's at daylight add another 40 or so nice specks and
9 flounder before and still have time to go chase other species for the board. I really appreciate the hard work you
put in to ensure the three of us had a great time on the water. I will be giving you a call next time I make a
trip to "The Island". Thanks, Mike Summers

Props to Capt. D-Wray, K-Wray, and Choupiquer
for teaching me how to kayak fish. They are the best! Left out early looking for one of their favorite points. Anchored
the mothership, offloaded the yaks and paddled to our desired positions. (Oh, and minnows were available if you are dependent.) Anchored yaks with custom-made pole anchors and were fishing in a matter of minutes. Even though there were many smaller
throwbacks, the bite was strong and the fish were plentiful. The conditions were great, water was nice, tide was acceptable,
and weather cooperative. They are excellent fisher-folks, generous hosts, and equally good guides. Today's trip
was great down on Grand Isle. Just leave your watch at the camp. -Wendy Billiot
